Margo Delfin WG Insecticide is a biological insecticide containing Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki (Bt), widely used for the control of caterpillars and leaf-eating larvae in various crops. It works through stomach action; when the larvae feed on treated leaves, the bacteria release toxins that stop feeding and eventually kill the pests. Margo Delfin WG is highly effective against pests like Helicoverpa (fruit borer), Spodoptera (armyworm), diamondback moth (DBM), and other lepidopteran larvae. It is safe for beneficial insects and environment-friendly, making it suitable for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs. The product is commonly used in vegetables, cotton, pulses, and horticultural crops to reduce leaf damage and improve crop health and yield.

Dosage:
• 1 gm per liter of water
• 200 gm per acre

Application Method:
• Spray uniformly on both sides of leaves
• Ensure thorough coverage of the foliage, especially young leaves
• Use sufficient water for proper leaf wetting

Targeted Pests:
• Helicoverpa (Fruit Borer) → Controls fruit and pod damage
• Spodoptera (Armyworm) → Reduces leaf feeding and defoliation
• Diamondback Moth (DBM) → Protects crucifer crops from larval damage
• Leaf Eating Caterpillars → Stops feeding activity on vegetables and field crops
• Lepidopteran Larvae → Controls early-stage caterpillar infestation

Timing:
• Spray during early morning or evening hours
• Avoid spraying during strong sunlight or high temperature

Frequency:
• Repeat after 7–10 days if pest infestation continues
• Apply at early larval stage for best effectiveness

💡 Best Results Tip:
Use clean water and ensure pests actively feed on treated leaves for effective biological control action.

1. How does Margo Delfin WG work against pests?
It works through stomach action; when larvae consume treated foliage, it releases natural toxins that disrupt feeding and lead to pest control.
2. Which pests are effectively managed by Margo Delfin WG?
It effectively controls Helicoverpa, Spodoptera, diamondback moth, and other lepidopteran caterpillars in crops.
3. When is the best time to apply Margo Delfin WG?
It is most effective when applied at the early larval stage before heavy infestation occurs.
4. Does Margo Delfin WG affect beneficial insects?
No, it is selective in action and generally does not harm beneficial insects like pollinators and natural predators.
