Atul Lepto is a broad-spectrum insecticide effective against a wide range of pests, including lepidopteran larvae, whiteflies, and thrips. It is a biological insecticide derived from natural sources, making it less harmful to the environment compared to traditional synthetic insecticides. It contains emamectin benzoate, a naturally occurring avermectin produced by the bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis, which works by disrupting the insect’s nervous system, leading to paralysis and death. Atul Lepto is available in various formulations such as granules, soluble powders, and wettable powders, and can be used on a wide range of crops including vegetables, fruits, and ornamental plants.
