The Solar Insect Trap is a modern, energy-efficient pest control device designed to protect crops from harmful flying insects without the use of chemicals. Powered by solar energy, this trap automatically operates during nighttime, attracting insects using a high-intensity UV light and eliminating them through an electric grid or collecting system.

Built with durable, weather-resistant materials, the trap is suitable for all types of agricultural fields, gardens, and plantations. It is an ideal solution for farmers looking to reduce pesticide usage and adopt sustainable farming practices.

Dosage :

  • 1–2 traps per acre for normal pest population
  • 2–3 traps per acre for heavy infestation
  • For small gardens: 1 trap for 500–1000 sq. meters

Usage :

  • Install the trap in the field at 4–6 feet height above crop level
  • Place it in an open area with good sunlight for proper solar charging
  • The trap will automatically turn ON at night and OFF during the day
  • UV light attracts insects, and they get trapped or killed inside
  • Use 1–2 traps per acre depending on pest population
  • Clean the collection tray regularly to maintain efficiency
  • Avoid placing near bright lights, as it may reduce insect attraction
  • Start using from early crop stage or when pests appear
  • Vegetable crops: Tomato, Brinjal (Eggplant), Chilli, Okra, Cabbage
  • Fruit crops: Mango, Guava, Pomegranate, Banana
  • Field crops: Paddy (Rice), Cotton, Maize, Pulses
  • Cash crops: Sugarcane, Groundnut
  • Plantation crops: Coconut, Arecanut
  • Horticultural & greenhouse crops: Flowers, Polyhouse vegetables
  • Reduces pest population by attracting and killing harmful flying insects
  • Minimizes crop damage caused by moths, beetles, flies, and other pests
  • Improves crop yield by protecting plants during critical growth stages
  • Enhances crop quality (better size, color, and market value)
  • Reduces pesticide usage, lowering input cost
  • Supports organic farming with chemical-free pest control
  • Prevents disease spread as many insects carry plant diseases
  • Ensures healthier plant growth with less pest stress
  • Early (Vegetative) Stage
  • Pre-Flowering Stage
  • Flowering Stage
  • Fruiting / Pod Formation Stage
  • Harvesting Stage
  • Do not touch the electric grid while the trap is in operation
  • Always switch OFF before cleaning or maintenance
  • Keep away from children and animals
  • Install properly to avoid falling or damage due to wind
  • Avoid using in waterlogged areas or direct contact with water
  • Use proper insulated wiring and connections
  • Clean the trap using gloves for hygiene and safety
