Tata Takumi is a broad-spectrum insecticide that is effective against a wide range of pests, including stem borers, leaf folders, pod borers, and semi-loopers. It is a water-dispersible granule (WDG) formulation that is easy to mix and apply. Tata Takumi is also relatively safe for beneficial insects and has a low toxicity. It is a new-generation diamide insecticide that provides outstanding control of lepidopteran (caterpillar) pests. It works by activating ryanodine receptors in insect muscles, causing rapid feeding cessation, paralysis, and eventual death. Takumi offers excellent larvicidal activity, long residual protection, good rainfastness, and is safe for beneficial insects, making it suitable for IPM and IRM programs.
