Active Ingredient: Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki (Btk), strain SA-11 Pack Size: 100gm Delfin® WG, a biological insecticide from Certis Biologicals USA, provides sustainable and effective control of Lepidopteran caterpillars across a wide range of crops. Delfin® WG contains a unique blend of Cry proteins, spores, and secondary metabolites, which act synergistically to deliver superior caterpillar control. Mode of action: Caterpillar ingest Delfin WG spores and Cry toxins by feeding after spraying. The toxins are activated and bind to specific receptors in the insect midgut. Activated toxins are inserted into the cell membrane, causing membrane disintegration. This leads to gut paralysis and cessation of feeding. The ingested larvae die within 1 to 3 days  - a classic stomach poison effect.
