Description
Sorghum is cultivated mainly for grain and also for fodder. Sorghum is a drought resistant annual
crop. Sorghum thrives in tropical climate with a temperature range of 25-35 degree Celsius. It is not
suited to higher elevations (more than 1200 m). Sorghum can be grown under an annual rainfall of
300-350 mm.
Biomass Yield: around 100 tons per acre per Year.
Seed Rate: 8 kg per Acre.
