E-Mate is an insecticide belonging to the avermectin group that provides effective control of lepidopteran pests through stomach action. It is most effective when ingested by larvae, causing them to become paralyzed, cease feeding shortly after exposure, and die within 2–4 days. E-Mate exhibits excellent translaminar activity, enabling it to control caterpillars feeding on the underside of leaves. Feeding damage is significantly reduced within two hours of application, helping to protect crops from further injury. The product is rainfast within four hours of application and is well suited for use in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs due to its effectiveness and compatibility with resistance management strategies
